Justyna Zając is a full professor at the University of Warsaw and a Visiting Professor at Indiana University. Her interests focus on transatlantic and European security, including Poland’s foreign and security policy. Prof. Zając served on several executive bodies of the Polish government, including the President National Security Strategic Review Commission and the Council of Young Scientists of the Minister of Science and Higher Education. She authored several policy papers for Poland’s Ministry of Regional Development, National Security Bureau, and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. Prof. Zając was a two-term member of the Steering Committee of the Standing Group on International Relations of the European Consortium for Political Research.She was also a visiting scholar at George Washington University, Science Po, and University of Belgrade, and a recipient of several fellowship and awards from the European Union, Ambassade de France en Pologne, the Kościuszko Foundation, and the Galilee College.
